- In-home pet sitting: While clients are away, we visit their home 1-4 times per day to walk, feed and care for their pet/s per their owner’s direction and my standards. We do not provide overnight pet care at this time.
- Dog walking: One visit per day, Monday through Friday, to visit and walk dogs while their owners are at work;
- Maintenance services: Many clients just don’t have the time to give their animals some regular care. Examples include a bath, brush out, perform nail trims on dogs, cats, small animals or birds. Many of these services can be done during In-home pet sits or as stand alone services.
- Pet Taxi Services: Picking up animals for grooming appointments, veterinary appointments, doggie daycare, and any other appointments necessary. These can be done with visits or stand alone services.
- Medical Services: Many of our clients have elderly pets that have medical needs ranging from giving simple oral medication, ear cleaning and medications, eye medication administration, anal gland expressions, giving subcutaneous fluids or even injections of various kinds. I am willing to train employees who want to learn these skills.

Summary
Sitters contracted by Ally 4 Pets can either be classified as a Mid-Day Dog Walker or a Pet Care Specialist. As we grow, these positions can be combined to help increase your hours as your availability permits. This is based on your availability and what services you’re interested in offering to our Ally 4 Pet clients’. Maintenance/Taxi Services can be stand-alone services or combined with any pet sitting service. Medical Services can be a part of some Pet Sitting assignments and can be something like giving medications on a regular schedule but can also be a part of baths or individual services.
Each Pet Care Specialist/Walker is assigned to specific clients based on where you live. To start, we will plug you in where we can until you build up your book of business in your area.
We keep our sitters’ assignments as close to their “home base” as possible to increase their profits. The usual travel distance is 20-30 miles based on where you service… unless you have agreed to travel further.
Mid-Day Walkers build their regular schedules by either inheriting the walks of another sitter who is no longer able to offer their services to Ally 4 Pets, or by adding on new clients that sign-up for service. Our regular midday clients retain the same “walker” until their relationship with Ally 4 Pets ends or until the walker is no longer contracted by Ally 4 Pets. Our walkers visit their same clients on their route Monday through Friday based on the clients booking schedule.
Pet Care Specialists are chosen as the “primary sitter” for a client by the service areas that they cover and by their availability submitted to the Ally 4 Pets database. After a sitter is assigned as the “primary sitter,” Ally 4 Pets will make every attempt to book that same sitter for the client for subsequent bookings. If the primary sitter is unavailable, then Ally 4 Pets will assign a secondary sitter to the assignment using the same protocol as explained above. A client may choose to meet with any back-up/secondary sitter, or they may choose to have a phone conversation or they may just ask that Ally 4 Pets send the sitter without introduction.
While Ally 4 Pets sitters do their best to cover in cases of emergencies, this is not a job where “calling in sick” is tolerated. The pets in your care depend on you to complete your assignments and (1) no-call; no-show is cause for immediate termination of assignments.
Long-Term Relationship
Ally 4 Pets is interested in working with employees who want to build a long-term relationship with our company and its clients. It’s not a good position for those trying to find interim work while in-between jobs or trying to “figure-out” what their next step is. Our clients come to trust their assigned pet care provider and appreciate it when they’re able to grow a trusted relationship with that person.
Compensation
- Your compensation is 50% of every visit you make. Visits average $30 per visit. So… when Ally 4 Pets makes more money so do you!
